Our commitment
Snatched Body by Flo is committed to meeting its obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and to providing service in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities.
This website
The site has been built with accessibility in mind, aiming at WCAG 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means:
- Text and background colours are chosen to meet contrast requirements.
- Every page can be navigated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- A "skip to content" link is provided at the top of every page.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Headings are properly structured so screen readers can navigate the page.
- Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced rather than shown only by colour.
- Animation is reduced automatically for visitors whose device requests it.
- The layout works on small screens and reflows without horizontal scrolling.
Visiting the studio
OWNER ACTION: describe the physical access to the studio honestly here — parking, steps or level entry, door widths, washroom access, and anything a client should know before they arrive. Clients would far rather read an accurate description than discover a barrier on the day.
If you have an access requirement, please tell us when you book and we will do what we can to accommodate you.
Service animals and support persons
Service animals and support persons are welcome.
Alternative formats
If you need information from this website in another format, contact us and we will provide it in a way that works for you, at no additional cost.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this website or at the studio, please tell us at contact@snatchedbodybyflo.ca or 1-613-777-DIET. Feedback is welcome and is acted on.
